Our Family

Hi, I’m Weyhill, and this is my best friend, Grace.

As you can see, we’re cute and cuddly schnauzers – thus our name, Saucon Valley Cute & Cuddly Toy Schnauzers! We’d love to share more about SVCC Toys LLC, our family, and our pack:

Our mommy, daddy, and big brother are our pack leaders.

You might know them as Shawn, Jim, and William. We think of our mommy and daddy as Shasha and JSH (pronounced “Jisch”)!

It all started when Shasha was a very young girl. Growing up, she wanted a dog so much. She yearned and begged her parents to let her get a dog. She imagined that having a well-socialized and well-trained doggie would mean she could have a best friend that could go everywhere with her. But because Shasha’s family moved so frequently, she was told that was not possible.

Somehow, little Shasha connected the idea that having a great, well-trained doggie meant you also had a great well-designed life and family.

Later, she learned there is a connection: the skills and abilities it takes to learn how to train a wonderful doggie are transferable to learning how to be part of a wonderful family.

Lucky for us, when Shasha was 12 years old, she was able to start taking 4-H classes to learn how to train a dog. That is how Shasha met the owner of an English Cocker and Gordon Setter show kennel. The owner of the kennel became a beloved mentor who taught Shasha how to groom little dogs, too. She suggested that Shasha get a dog from “the pound” and practice grooming and training him. She said that if Shasha could do that very well for one year, then Shasha could get a show dog.

That first little doggie that Shasha got from “the pound” was Tramp, a schnauzer!

Tramp was such a quick learner because he was so happy that she saved him from the lonely place where he had been. Tramp let Shasha learn how to groom him using clippers, and he loved dog training classes. He became one of her best friends.

A year later, Shasha also got her first show dog, Pollyanna. Shasha went on to learn how to show and train lots of dogs. When she was a teenager, she created her first business, Perfect Pet Pickers, to help families find the right breed of dog and then train it so it would become a beloved member of the family.

So Shasha says she has loved doggies all her life!

That is very different from how JSH grew up.

His parents were of Japanese decent, and they lived in the San Francisco Bay area. They never had a dog because Jim’s mom thought they were not clean enough. As a very young person, JSH was afraid of dogs. He grew up a committed “no dog” person. Lucky for us, JSH liked Shawn enough to agree to have one doggie.

Now JSH is our biggest fan!

He is so funny how he will cuddle up with us. We love to sing for him when he comes home too. JSH is the Procurement Director in our home, and we love that he regularly brings us golf balls to play with – he hides them from us in his golf bag, but we always find them!

We are so grateful for all that he does for us.

We are a loving pack that likes to play and learn!

Our pack has grown to include many doggies that do not live in the same house with us, although most of us in our pack were all born here. Shasha and JSH raised and trained all of us with our fur baby family.

A few of us still live with Shasha and JSH, but most of us – like me, Weyhill, Lola, and Stella – live with people who love and adore us just like Shasha and JSH do.

We call all of us the “Fur Baby Family!” Here is a family photo album:
